Alternative HR is pleased to announce their nomination for Central Penn’s Business Journal 2015 Business of the Year Award: Entrepreneur of the Year category. Kellie Boysen, the President of Alternative HR, was nominated by her colleague, Jessica Maul, a Marketing Consultant with Alternative HR.
As one of seven companies selected as finalists for the award, Alternative HR was selected based on a three-part evaluation of criteria such as growth, accomplishments, and community involvement.
Kellie Boysen stated, “I am humbled to be nominated as a finalist for this award and the recognition of the work we do at Alternative HR. I consider it an honor to help others.”
Kellie started Alternative HR in 2010, and her extensive background in the field of Human Resources has served her well in providing consultative HR services to organizations throughout the Central PA region. She currently serves on the board of the local York Chapter of SHRM and maintains her national membership through SHRM. Additionally, Kellie volunteers with the Junior League of York, Downtown York Rotary, SCORE, the York Area Housing Group Personnel Committee, the Center for Independent Living Board, and as a York County Economic Alliance Ambassador.
